THE FALLEN ASTRONAUT

The Fallen Astronaut  is a captivating documentary directed by Frank Herrebout, produced by Stichting Hai Nu. It tells the remarkable true story behind the only work of art ever placed on the Moon—a small aluminum statue and commemorative plaque secretly left by the Apollo 15 crew in August 1971. Through interviews with the artist Paul Van Hoeydonck, astronaut Alfred Worden, and others involved in the mission, the film explores the creation, secret deployment, and the controversy that followed when NASA declined to reveal the tribute publicly.

THE LAST INSURGENT

The Last Insurgent is a poignant historical documentary chronicling the role of the Trnava military garrison—the lone unit from western Slovakia that joined the Slovak National Uprising in 1944, bravely resisting the German Wehrmacht. Through vivid archival materials and personal recollections of Štefan Minarovič, the last surviving insurgent, as well as commentary from historians and military club members, the film paints a touching portrait of courage, remembrance, and national pride in the face of oppression .
